Green hydrogen generation through innovative solar thermal power plants with storage


Water electrolysis technology for the energy production through the use of solid oxide electrolyte cells (SOEC), and to implement it in a solar thermal power generation plant.

Objective: to open up the Spanish market to SOEC/SOFC technology and compete with existing SOEC manufacturers.

Almagreen project will study the valorization of wastes of different nature to convert them into green hydrogen, biomethane and renewable liquid fuels, but above all it will focus on studying how to store these products for later use in the transport and chemical sector.
